Taqi Ahmed is a Pakistani TV actor and model. He was born on 3rd June, 1985 in Karachi, Pakistan. He is known for acting in Urdu serials like 'Yeh Hain Zindagi', 'Dil Awaiz' and 'Dil Ek Khilona Tha' which aired on Urdu channels like Hum TV, Geo TV, ARY Digital, A-Plus Entertainment and others. His shows used to air on the Indian Urdu channel, Zindagi as well before the ban. He has a younger brother named Xuhair Ahmed. Taqi studied at Habib Public School in Karachi. He started his career as a model with his debut in a Zong network commercial. He also modelled in Forhan’s Hair Tonic, HBL, State Life, Kurleez, Maazaa, K-Electric and other advertisements. Later, he earned his Bachelor's from National Academy of Performing Arts in Karachi. After graduating, he joined the Pakistani TV serial industry.

He appeared in Dil-E-Abad on Hum TV in 2010. Taqi’s first major role was in drama serial Kaash Mein Teri Beti Na Hoti which aired on Geo TV in 2011 which also aired on Zindagi on 23rd June 2014 as Beti Ka Sauda. Taqi did a supporting lead role in Gohar-e-Nayab on A-Plus Entertainment in 2013 which was released as Gauhar on Zindagi on 17th December 2014. His other serials include Kyun Mili Ye Saza on Express Entertainment, Mera Naam Yusuf Hain on A-Plus, Yahi Hai Zindagi on Express TV, Kuchh Dair Khiza Mein on Play Entertainment, Khushboo Ka Ghar on ARY Digital, Nikki aur Buddy on A-Plus and many others. He appeared in anthology series Shareek-e-Hayaat on Hum TV which also aired on Zindagi as Saare Mausam Tumse Hee in 2015.

He has also acted in telefilms like, 'Kuchh Is Tarah', 'Kitni Girhain Baki Hain' and 'Sasural ke Rang Anokhen'. Taqi starred in the short film, 'Toota Tara' directed by Faheem Khan and was released on 17th September 2015. In the film he acted as Aryaan Khan, a man with speech impairment struggling to gain the acceptance of the society. In 2017, his latest serial ' Titli' aired on 20th January on Urdu1 channel. He was also expected to debut in Pakistani movie 'Kabeer' in the same year. The film created media buzz after casting Arshad Khan, a young and handsome tea seller. Taqi judged a drama competition with Pakistani actress, Zeba Bakhtiar held at Hamdard University, Karachi during the Student’s Week in 2014. He also made an appearance in the Pakistani dance reality show, 'Nachle' on ARY Digital.

He is a renowned actor in Bengali film industry and is a prolific politician too. EARLY LIFE Tapas Paul is the son of Dr. Ganesh Pal of Chandannagar. He was born in a village in Burdwan district which is on the outskirts. He is the first from the family to begin the career in film industry and politics. His debut movie which pushed his career was “DadarKirti” in 1980, directed by Tarun Majumder, and was an instant superhit. He received many accolades and applauds for his debut movie.
