He took birth in the capital, Delhi, India. As a child, he attended the prestigious The Doon School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He graduated from the St. Stephens College in New Delhi, India. Then, he worked at the Internal Revenue Service. But this job did not interest him, after continuing for a year at IRS he left the job to make a career in acting. In the year 2009, Satyadeep married actress Aditi Rao Hydari. The actress has worked in hits like Rockstar, Padmavati, etc.

However, their marriage was a secret until Aditi finally revealed their relationship. After four years, the couple departed ways in 2013. Aditi met Satyadeep at 17 in College and got married at 21. The two do not talk much about their past in media. In 2011, Satyadeep made his Bollywood debut with No One Killed Jessica.
