Saleh Al or Khaled Saleh a renowned Egyptian movie and television star was born on 23rd January 1964 in Cario. His debutant role of an intelligence officer in the movie Gamal Abdel-Nasser, based n the life of former Egyptian president, is still remembered by everyone. He is considered as ace star and performer of Egyptian show business. He made all the character he played so lively and real that it was hard to predict Saleh’s real personality. The small role in the television serial on the life of a singer Umm Kulthum is an example of such statement. Saleh was an alumnus from Cairo University’s Faculty of Law. After his law studies, he began to perform giving director to his passion of life with Al-Hanager Theatre and the Cairo Opera House.
Saleh was introduced to behind screen acting no sooner than in 2000. The actor appeared in many movies and television serials with memorable performances in his career. The Movie such as ‘Tito’ directed by Tarek Al Eryan in 2004; Marwan Hamid’s directorial ‘The Yacoubian Building’, this movie was adaption from one of famous novel Alaa Al-Aswany; late Youssef Chahine’s venture called ‘Heya Fawda’ and Khaled Youssef directed movie ‘Alrayes Omar Harb’. He even marked his place in television serials such as ‘Tager el-Saada (The Vendor of Happiness)’ and “Al-Rayan.” The actor, unfortunately, died on 25th September 2014 at the mere age of 50. He died in Aswan due to follow-up effects of open heart surgery at the Magdi Yacoub Heart Centre. Whole Egyptian show biz industry and lot many fans were seen giving homage to their favourite actor during his funeral.
