Plot
Village women who constantly maintain the duties and responsibilities of their married lives but simultaneously are longing for affection and intimacy.
Star performance
Saanand Verma and Bijendra Kala are the only standouts in this film delivering solid performances. The rest of the cast despite being good actors are just wasted and this has more to do with the writing.
Analysis
The film has an unconventional concept, but the direction is so wrong that you just don’t care. The film is a mix of genres, but none of them is presented well. One of the most significant demerits of this film is its writing. The plot of this film is so weak that even actors can’t salvage this sinking ship. The film is adamant on conveying a message which is so banal. The acting performances are okayish.Bijendra Kala and Saanand Verma are the only standouts in this mess of a film who does bring something in this lacklustre film. Some scenes are added just for the male audience and their appeasement. The only saving grace is the music of this film. The story is interesting on paper but failed miserably in execution. The film attempted to add elements like authenticity, sensationalism but none of it worked. Chaar Lugaai wanted to be a thought-provoking film but couldn’t even scratch the surface. The film is confused in what it wants to portray. If they wanted it to be a critically acclaimed film why add the cheap thrills.

Verdict
Chaar Lugaai wanted to be a thought-provoking film with a serious tone but turned out to be a mess. The film offers an interesting premise. You can watch it once on a random binge.
