Paidi Jairaj

Paidi Jairaj was an Indian movie, quality actor. He also directed and produced movies. He also worked for Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi language flicks, and Telugu drama theater. He was named Paidy Pathi Jairaj Naidu when he was born. Paidi was born on September 28, 1909. He was born in a well-known and learned family unit in Karimnagar, Hyderabad. The great Indian Poet, Sarojini Naidu was his aunt. Paidi married a woman called Savithri. Her hometown is New Delhi. She has Punjabi origins. His family arranged the marriage. Raj Kapoor's paternal grandfather had recommended the girl. He was a father of six children.

He fathered four daughters and only two sons. He was grief-stricken by his wife's death. The death of his partner very unexpectedly had a deep impact on him. She had cancer. She died in the year 1999. Jairaj breathed last on August 11, 2000. He died at the ripe age of almost 91 years. He entered the film business at a period when it had a doubtful reputation. He faced opposition from his family when he told them about his plans. He had to run away from his home in 1929. He was twenty years old when he came to Bombay. He helped in the management of sets, assisted the editing process, assisted the camera crew, etc. Jairaj had two brothers. He was the youngest son. He studied at the Nizam College in Telangana. In 1929, the year he had run away, he got his first break. He acted in the silent talkie Kling youth. After his first break, he acted in around ten silent movies. He received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1980.

He was passionate about classical music. He adored classical dance. He was an artistic person.
