Makrand Shukla

Makrand Shukla is a renowned Indian director from Mumbai, Maharashtra, working in Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre, Jakarta which is an Indian Cultural Centre of Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) established in 1989. He pursued a degree in English Literature and Indian Classical Dance. He has inherited the talents of Arts and Literature naturally as a child as an influence from his deep-rooted cultural family. He started acting at three and has worked for more than 48 films since then in multiple languages, such as Hindi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, etc. He has experience working in Multimedia and Software on Regional Television & FM Radio. He was nominated by the state government as the Regional Officer of ICCR Gujarat in 2012 for the state of Gujarat, where he received the opportunity to work with the academic and cultural sectors of the state.
