Dibyendu Bhattacharya is a famous actor of Indian film Industry. Common folk knows him well by his role in Dev D. He has worked in several films. He debuted in Indian Film Industry with the movie named as Wedding which released in the year, 2001. He is not a heroic actor playing heroic, comic or simple roles. He has a different forte and unique style of working. He has played varieties of characters including the gray shades too. Diganta Hazarika

Diganta Hazarika is an Assamese handsome actor cum model. For his handsome look, he got his early break in modeling and then made his foray into cinema. He made his debut in modeling in 2004 and he is one of the few models who successfully walked more than 200 ramps in the north-east region. After being cast in a number of music videos in Assamese languages, he decided to take acting seriously. Born on 23rd September in Nagaon district of Assam, he made his debut in Asamese film in ‘Rishang’ opposite Nishita Goswami in 2012 and shot into limelight with another film ‘Rowd’ that was directed by Gautam Baruah. He was cast opposite debutant actress Monali and the film was a runway super hit. We all may be surprised that Diganta Hazarika has bagged a role in Ashutosh Gowariker’s tilted film Mohenjo Daro, which will be produced by Disney India and Ashuthosh Gowariker Productions, The film has Hrithik Roshan in the main cast. Mohenjo Daro is scheduled for a world wide release in 2016. Earlier, Diganta was also a part of the team of Ashutosh Gowariker’s blockbuster TV serial ‘Everest’ aired on Star Plus in November 2015. Even Oscar Award winner A R Rahman had composed music for this TV serial. Prior to this, he had even acted in an Assamese TV serial called Anurag Tumar Babe. Diganta was even selected for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s flick starring Priyanka Chopra, which was based on Olympic bronze medalist Mary Kom biopic, but his dates clashed with Everest (a TV serial made by Lagan fame Ashutosh Gowariker). So he opted out from Mary Kom and went ahead with Everest. That is how the actor made a transition to Hindi TV serial from Assamese films and television.It looks that the model-turned-actor has transitioned to Bollywood roles and wants to become popular across Asia because of his great acting skills.
