Alok Ulfat

Alok Ulfat is an Indian actor, director, teacher, and writer. He was born in Dehradun. Alok has two siblings Raja Ulfat (brother), and Kiran Ulfat Goyal (sister). He was born to an active social worker and philanthropist parents. Alok graduated from DBS & DAV College, where he studied Economics, Geography, English, and Geology. He loved always teaching. Therefore, Ulfat learned teacher training, speech, and drama in the United Kingdom from Emerson College. Alok Ulfat is the person behind initiating the student “selection process at Film and Television Institute of India.” As his parents were a Philanthropist. Prof. Lekh Raj Ulfat founded “Nanhi Duniya” (The International Movement of Children and their Friends) while his mother also co-founded and worked for many child welfare activities. Alok is also working to fulfill the aim of Nanhi Duniya, whose initiative is to develop a peaceful, integrated, and sustainable environment so that, living beings live in harmony. Ulfat is the founder of “Avikal Initiative for Life & Active Learning." This program included Avikal theatre company, Rang Himalaya, and Alok Ulfat Workshops.
