Sakshi was one of the top 5 finalists in the Miss Umang Beauty Peagent in 2013. She formally began her modeling career in 2016. She was an internal-ad model for Maybelline and shot for a lipstick shade. She has also featured in a web advertisement for Uber Eats.

She was an associate at the US Freedom Capital. She has walked the ramp for various fashion designers including Jenny Dadlani.

She is associated as a model with TOABH Talent Management. She is also associated with the Creator 21 initiative. During the judges round of MTV- Super Model of the Year, Sakshi failed to impress the judges.
