Garima Yadav is an Indian model, popular amongst the regional audience for winning the title of Miss Charming Face Beauty Pageant in 2017. Mostly known for her major involvement in Hindi advertisements, fashion shows, brand endorsements, etc, she joined the Indian Army in 2017 after clearing the Combined Defense Services (CDS) exam. Garima always had a dream of being a part of the Indian Administrative Services. But destiny had other plans for her. Based in Shimla, Garima completed her schooling from the Army Public School, Shimla.
Later on, she went to St. Stephen’s College, Delhi to complete her B.A. honors in Economics. After that she started preparing for civil services (IAS Mains) but according to her - “maybe army was my true calling.” During her preparations, she worked at a multinational corporation that was into event management. This is when she got an offer and won Miss India’s Charming Face Peagent. For the next round, Garima got a call from Italy but decided to reject this offer for joining the Officers Training Academy, Chennai instead.
