Daniel Bauer is Bollywood’s biggest A-list celebrity make-up and hair stylist. Born in 1976 in Perth, Australia, he is now Mumbai’s biggest name in the make-up industry. His mom is Thai, dad is German, and his grandparents are Indian and Chinese. Earlier in his childhood, he along with his family, migrated to Germany. He was always fascinated by the fashion industry, and he claims that Elle Macpherson and Claudia Schiffer were some of his biggest influences.

He had made up his mind in his early days that the fashion industry and make-up artistry was the one for him. He took fashion courses in Germany and then moved to Sydney to find a career. As he started working, he eventually made his way up and got offers from some of the biggest magazines in the world. Around that time, the fashion scene in India was just kicking up, and Daniel got an offer to work for Vogue India.

He says that because it was the beginning of big fashion magazines in India, it was the perfect time for someone like him to experiment and set trends that would later become the popular fads. Daniel only came for some magazine works in India, but he loved the country so much that he ended up staying in India. He fell in love with the culture and colourful India. Gradually as his awesome work was noticed all across India, along came the biggest names in Bollywood who chose him as their main man.

Daniel is now the go-to man for the likes of Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor. He also is the lead make-up artist of the famous Lakme Fashion Week. Some of the most impressive lists of brands he works for include Armani, H&M, Alec Wek, and Tresemme. Daniel is one of the busiest artist out there.
