Joyeeta Roy

Joyeeta Roy is a liner producer and director based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She was born in Kolkata and is the daughter of Mrs. Nupur Gangopadhyay and Mr. Shiladitya Roy. She did her schooling at Dolna Day School, where she actively participated in activities such as swimming, cycling, Odissi dance, karate, school debates, quiz shows, etc. She holds a degree in Bachelor in Sociology from Jogomaya Devi College, Kolkata. She started her career in 2011 when she was just 16 years old and worked as an assistant director in the Bengal film industry. Then, she moved to work in the post-production of movies and television shows. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as an Assistant Director for Shree Venkatesh Films.

After that, she became the line producer at Surinder VFX Studios. In 2017, she started working in the Executive Production and Marketing department at Prelude Novel Ventures (P) Ltd. Since June 2015, she has been working as an executive producer at FFACE in Kolkata and founded her own production company called ‘Signature 24 Productions,’ in April 2018. Joyeeta has been a part of many Bengali and Hindi movies. She has also worked in fiction, and non-fiction television shows and local/national advertisements. As an actor, she has worked in Kanamachi and Gaaner Opare.
