Amar Punj Lata is a fashion designer working in the Indian film and television industry. Amar currently lives in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. She went to Indonesia to study Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Designing from Institute di Moda Burgo. She also has a degree in fashion design from the International Institute of Fashion design. Amar joined T – the series in 2014 as a costume designer and worked there for 3 years. She later worked with Zee Entertainment – Punjabi for a couple of drama series including Tera Rang Chadheya. In 2021, she joined Zee Studios as a freelance costume designer and worked there for one year. In the year 2017, Amar launched her own fashion label – Amarpunj in Mumbai. She also has to her credit the costume design of the short film The 6th Element (2016).
