Somnath Dey is an Indian Film Video Editor, Director, and Cinematographer. He has mainly worked in Bengali and Hindi films. He started working in the film industry since 2007 Some of his works can be seen in the movies Dard in 2025, Amar Challenge in 2021 and F.I.R NO. 339/07/06 in 2021. His short films and documentaries include ‘Are Bondhu Chol,’ ‘Swopner Virere,’ ‘Get-Go,’ ‘Lonely,’ and many more. He has worked as an assistant Video Editor in BLUES, as a Technical Team Lead in Cine India Kolkata, a Video Editor -PC Chandra Goldlites Diva in 2014, Marlin Group Launching Project, ISDAI, Palki Fashion Event, etc. Later he opened his own production company called Somnath Dey Films.
