Keval Shukla

Keval Shukla is an Indian editor who is a new talent in the Bollywood film industry. He was born in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He attended the Kacchwa Christian School in Mirzapur, followed by Little Flower House High School in Varanasi. His career kindled when he was discovered by director Shailendra Kumar, who cast him to edit the short film “Tech Sex” in 2016. He worked with Shailendra on his subsequent short films, “Sexaholic” (2016) and “ Psycho Click to look into! >> Read More... ” (2016), before the director presented him with the break to edit his first feature film “Sunshine Music Tours & Travels” (2016). The film was co-produced by the Percept Pictures Company, where Keval works as a senior editor.

It was the world’s first music festival-brand fictional movie, narrating the story of two boys who travel from Kashmir to Goa to fulfil their dream of attending the Sunburn music festival. Keval shot two birds with one stone since he had the fortunate opportunity to edit the after-movie of the 2016 Sunburn Festival as well. Besides movies, he has also assisted the Punjabi singer, T-Jay, with his music videos of ‘Xplain’ (2017) and ‘Lovestruck’ (2017) under the direction of Abhijeet Rajput. In Keval’s latest project, he collaborated with Rajput for the director’s short musical film “Waiting by Two Ninjas” (2018).
