Atanu Mukherjee is an Indian-Writer. Along with being a writer, he is also an Editor and a Director. He primarily works in the Hindi Film Industry. His career started with writing and directing short films. The short film, named The Gatekeeper gave him immense popularity, and his career boosted up with this film. 'The Gatekeeper' is presented in the South Asian International Film Festival, and International Documentary, and Short Film Festival, Kerala. This film festival took place in the year 2015, and it won the Best Short Fiction Award.
Another short film, named 'Stray Dogs' also won the Best Short Film in Kerala Award. My House is not so far, got the appreciation from Doordarshan, and it is broadcasted on Doordarshan.
