Ashwin Pande

Ashwin Pande is a gifted editor, writer and he prefers to call himself "doer of deeds and things." He is based in Bangalore, India and surprisingly followed back by Barack Obama on his Twitter handle. He has overseen content at Graphic India, Lazer Beam, Piranha, Club Sandwich, Velociraptor and Ink Warrior. Ashwin Pande completed his Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Hindu College of the University of Delhi from the year 2002 to 2005. He has been working with Graphic India since 2012. On his website-cum-blog, named 'Ashwin Likes stuff', all of his work can be noticed. Pande is a talented artist who has worked on several acclaimed comics.

Some of his celebrated works include 'Chakra-the invincible' where he has worked as a writer, co-writer, editor and co-producer. Another of his works includes 'Sholay' which happens to be a graphic novel based on the famous movie Sholay where he has worked as a writer and editor. 'Sholay'sGabbar' is another celebrated animated series which explores the origin of Gabbar Singh, the infamous villain of Sholay. Pande has worked as an editor and writer for this project.

'Krrish - The menace of the monkey man' is another animated series project worked on by Pande, where he undertook to work as an editor and co-producer. This was the official graphic novel of Krrish. Ashwin Pande is working on '18 days' which is an animated series on Mahabharata under the label of Graphic India and is freely available on YouTube. Few others of his projects include Mistry, P.I., Baahubali - The Battle Of The Bold released in 2017. A sequel to it Baahubali - The Lost Legends released on Amazon Prime Video in January 2017 and the latest The Legend Of Hanuman released on Hotstar in January 2021.
