Harini Ravi is a South Indian dubbing artist and singer. She was born on 20th December 1994 in Chennai. She has worked under prolific music directors like A. R. Harini is the daughter of renowned classical violinist V. V. Ravi and singer cum dubbing artiste Visalam Ravi. She is the younger sister of the Carnatic vocalist V. R. Raghava Krishna. She attended high school at Sir Sivaswami Kalayala Senior Secondary School in the Mylapore area of Chennai.

When CBSE announced the twelfth standard board results on 28th May 2012, she was amongst the toppers from her school in the commerce stream. She won prizes and awards at school for music, academics, sports, painting, Bhagvat Geeta recitation and painting competitions. Harini began her Carnatic music training at a young age from her parents. She continues to train in music under her father and brother. She began her dubbing career when she lent a voice over at the age of six. She gave her voice over for more than two thousand advertisements in English, South Indian languages and North Indian languages. She also sang more than two thousand five hundred jingles.

She was a graded Child Artiste at All Indian Radio Chennai. Harini performed at many musical reality shows like Sapthaswarangal on Sun TV, Raagamalika on Jaya TV, Aha Paadalam on DD Podhigai and many others. Harini performed solo and duet songs for the album, Shout It Out created by about two thousand one hundred children of Tamil Nadu including herself. The is part of the East Side Story production, which was a project conceived by Nalanda Way Foundation in collaboration with United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund. The album was released by the former Tamil Nadu Governor Surjith Singh Barnala on 14th November 2005, Children’s Day.

Harini sang Chikku Chikku Boom Boom with Keerthi Segathia and Feji in the Tamil movie Maasilamani directed by R. N. R. Manohar. The feature film hit the silver screen on 19th June 2009. She became popular for her song Kichu Kichu Thambalam which she sang with Srijani, S. Srimathi, G. Her other songs include Kothavaranga from Aivar in 2011, Manvassam from Muthukku Muthaga in 2011, Chutti Pennae from Uchithanai Mukarnthal in 2011 and Naan Charlie Chaplin Ponnu in Chaaplin Samanthi in 2012 among many others.
