The duo has also directed Accident, Bela Seshe, Ramdhanu, Praktan, and Posto. She has been a part of numerous undertakings and has worked with many well-known writers. Nandita joined St. Joseph's Convent High School in the exurbia of Vile Parle.

Roy started her profession in 1978, as a puppeteer and assistant director on Agadoom-Bagadoom, a puppet movie for kids. Roy built up a far-reaching resume in many films, as an editor, set dresser, and scriptwriter, learning various phases of the business.

Roy shifted to the TV. She became accountable for ETV Network's original true-life production company and is the artistic and directorial boss of the Bengali channel. Nineteen nonfiction shows are created by the talented writer.
