J K Nanda was a writer, director, and actor. He was born on 19 March 1904 in Bham, Pakistan. J K Nanda had a very successful career as a director. He was known for directing numerous Hindi films like- Pavitra Ganga (1932), Bahen Ka Prem (1935), Ishara (1943), Jhumke (1946), Parwana (1947), Dhake Ki Malmal (1956), etc. In 1938, Nanda worked along with

As for his acting career, Nanda appeared in Vasantasena in 1929, Baghdad Nu Bahatvatio in 1930, and in the short film Bandit of Baghdad in 1930. Nanda died in 1983 in Mumbai at the age of 79, after giving some beautiful stories to the film industry.
