Aseem Purvi is a filmmaker based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, working in the Hindi entertainment industry. Aseem studied film, video, and photographic arts as an exchange student at the Ecole Nationale Superieure Arts Decoratifs (EnsAD), Paris. There, he made a few short art films. He then went on to do his bachelor’s at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He studied film and video communication there but dropped out to pursue his dream as a filmmaker. Aseem started his career as an assistant director in the TV series Chaskela. Since then, he has assisted in the direction of a couple of TV mini-series, such as Riverfront Stories and Moh Maya Machine.
