Arati Bhatt, a well-known and accomplished writer-director, was born and raised in Jhulaghat village, 36 kilometres from Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand. She has been active as a writer-director since January 2016. She resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra at present. At the suggestion of a noted television writer, Raghuveer Shekhawat, Arati Bhatt has worked as a writer at Pocket FM. One of her works at Pocket FM is Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye.

Arati Bhatt is the filmmaker, producer and the writer who also has a B.A. in art history from Kumaun University. Since 2016 she has become a popular Bollywood actress and worked in 100 Dresses (2022), Janhit Mein Jaari (2022), and featured in Ga Mere Maan Ga (2024). She also was the second unit director for the famous show Lakhan Leela Bhargav now available on JioCinema. She worked as a line producer in her own production house, “Bandobast Production”. Her forte is line production with a significant focus on death action sequences. Her company has acquired a good reputation in approaching some of the best industry experts to produce meaningful films and series appealing to the various demographic.

Since her appointment, Bandobast Production is well known for efficient planning and innovativeness particularly in the television production. Apart from creating products, Arati also fumes her creativity in writing engaging and relevant content for Pocket FM. This aspect of hers comes out clearly as she tells narratives through writing and drawing attention to headlines and posts. Chatpate Kissey and Chatpate Rishtedaar are also among the comedy series Arati has directed and produced, successfully tightening her belt in different genres. Her work is comical yet emotional and still realistic; that is why she is that pioneer of the new filmmaking techniques.
