Ashish Soni

Ashish Soni is a fashion designer. He has been in the industry for over three decades. And he is the first Indian designer to be at New York Click to look into! >> Read More... Fashion Week. He is from South Delhi, India. He completed his Bachelor’s in Fashion Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Ashish launched his label in 1992, and in 1993 he set up his independent design studio named "Ikos Designs Pvt. Ltd." In the same year, he hosted a solo show in Delhi. In 1999 he hosted his first exclusive menswear show. After that, the Government of India asked him to present some collections to commemorate the Millennium celebrations of Khajuraho.

In 2005 he became the first Indian to be invited to host a runway show at Olympus Fashion Week, in New York. At Olympus Fashion Week he was greeted as one of New York's latest discoveries by International Herald Tribune's Suzy Menkes. Also, he was one of the first Indian designers to retail through Selfridges. Ashish has also worked as the Chief Design Officer for the brand "Vanessa G." It was launched in London in the year 2011. He is popular for experimenting with fabric and is known for his creativity.
