Born in 1921, Amita Malik was an Indian media critic. She was born in the Guwahati district of Assam, India. She was a well-known Film and Television critic. She worked at All India Radio in Lucknow at a salary of 100 rupees per month. Every Saturday, she presented a weekly lunch-hour program of European music.
