Suchismita Samaddar

Suchismita Samaddar is an Indian Creative Director. She was born on the 20th of February and is fluent in Hindi, English and Bengali. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Lady Shriram College, Delhi in 2002 and her Masters in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi in 2008. She did her specialization in Video, Film Production and Editing. She has experience spanning more than 7 years. She has worked for various organizations and has assumed different positions as well. She started her career as an Online Story Editor at Endemol India. Her notable works included shaping the online narrative for Big Boss 2 on Colours tv. Suchismita then joined Big Synergy as a Researcher for “Sach Ka Saamna” on Star Plus as well as Love Lock UP on UTV Bindass.

She went on to become the Assistant Director and Associate Creative Director for “Dus ka Dum” and “Power Couples” respectively for Sony Entertainment. She assumed the position of Producerial posts while working for BBC Worldwide. She was the Supervising Producer for “Epic ke Dus 1 and 2” and was a senior producer in the creative team for Masterchef India 4 on StarPlus. She was also a Supervising Producer for “Covershot Mission North East” on National Geographic. She has also held various roles such as Reality Producer with Keylight India and Post Producer for No Nonsense Productions. Her work on “The Assignment” for Bloomberg TV won the National Award for Best Business Feature in 2013.
