Manila Pradhan is an Indian Model hailing from Namchi, Sikkim. She was born in 1995. Manila Pradhan had been passionate about acting and Modelling since her childhood. She also wanted to pursue a course in fashion design, but she graduated in pharmacy from Sikkim's Himalayan Pharmacy Institute on her parent's insistence. From the beginning, her family was against her pursuing acting and modeling.
Manila later migrated to Mumbai to pursue her passion – acting. She had applied for Femina Miss India Northeast but couldn't make it to the list because of her height. With her unfettered hard work and dedication, she won the reality show – MTV Supermodel of the Year. She was awarded five lakhs cash prize money and a year of modeling contracts with international magazines. She had applied thrice for the show but got rejected. Finally, she got selected the fourth time and won the show. Despite her having no professional training in modeling, she learned and acquired the skills to become a Supermodel.
