Samarth Srinivasan

Samarth Srinivasan is a composer, orchestrator, and music producer based in Mumbai. He was born in Hyderabad and then went to the United States to complete his education. He began learning Western classical piano at seven, but was always interested in creating his music. He began exploring the world of composition in high school. Srinivasan became interested in Hindustani classical music, studied the harmonium, and incorporated elements of Indian classical music into his compositions.

After graduating from college, Samarth continued his musical journey after earning a master's in music through the Scoring for Film, Television, & Video Games program at Berklee College of Music in Valencia. At Berklee, Samarth honed his media composition, instrumentation, arranging, conducting, and music production skills. During the year, he had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with his talented classmates and recorded his music at Air Studios in London and Budapest Arts Orchestra. Samarth's career finally began as Samarth started training with Salim-Sulaiman.

Under their guidance, he refined the skills and knowledge he acquired at Berklee and learned to use them professionally in Bollywood. He worked on the second series of the T-series mixtape and was the director of 'Student of the Year 2' & 'Umrao Jaan Ada: The Music.'

He also got his first taste of professional music composition by creating the end credits for the Zee5 web series 'Poison' with his friend Sanchit Malhotra. Samarth completed this act in Bollywood by teaching piano, composition, music theory, instrumentation, and arranging. He plans to continue his career in Bollywood because of his experience to teach Raghav Sachar's new production and music courses to help other musicians gain the skills they need to succeed in the music industry.
