Saurabh Monga is a well-known Indian Cinematographer. He works for Bollywood and the Hollywood Industry. He was born in New Delhi. After spending their childhood in India, he went to the United States for higher studies. Later, he returned to India and gained experience in feature films, documentaries, and commercials, he went back to America to learn Cinematography at the International Film and Television School, at San Antonio de Los Banos, Cuba. Saurabh has worked as the director of photography in various feature films such as The Gold-Laden Sheep & the Sacred Mountain, Agra, Candela, and short films such as El Destetado, La Carga, and Tiznao.
He has also worked in the Netflix Original Series Kohraa. His first feature film was The Gold-Laden Sheep & the Sacred Mountain(2019). His short film, Anfibio, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Another short film, La Carga(2015), won the Best Documentary Short Film at Malaga Film Festival. Sourabh's work has been appreciated in different film festivals. In the 2019 Asia Pacific Screen Awards, he was nominated in the category of Achievement in Cinematography and among the top five Asian cinematographers. In 2017, he was an alumnus of Berlinale Talents. He is based in India and Latin America.
