Fazila was born in 1970, in South Mumbai. She went to Queen Mary School and did her primary education. Later, she graduated from Sydenham College in 1991. Fazila spent some time in Finland but finally decided to come back to her birthland, Mumbai.
Initially, Fazila worked with UTV and understood the dynamics of business. Then Fazila finally made her mind to open her start-up. In 2003, she commenced her own company named Sol Production Pvt. Ltd. It was not just the company that opened, what else opened with the company were the doors of the most popular shows in the history of India like Koffee With Karan, Nach Baliye, Rakhi ka Swayamwar, Kya mast Life Hai, and Mai Ka Laal. SOL has produced these shows, and hence it became the leading production house.
Fazila chose to be a businesswoman irrespective of male dominance. She became a role model for all the women who want to follow their passion but are afraid of the after results.
