Assistant Makeup Artist
An Assistant Makeup Artist is one who helps the Makeup Artist in every possible way. This work includes setting up of the Makeup station, keeping the necessary equipment ready, sanitizing makeup brushes and ensuring that the makeup stays right on place.
They are expected to maintain cleanliness in the makeup station and also ensure that no unhygienic products are being used. An assistant makeup artist is said to undergo a course on makeup in order to become eligible for the work.
They should have the capability to communicate with other people, work in a team and also pay attention to details such as costume & design so as to match the makeup accordingly. They are also expected to have alternate equipment always in hand in order to meet any emergency situations. Altogether, this job is to ensure the smooth process of grooming the actors at their comfort and help them look ravishing or handsome.
