Writupriya Sarkar

Writupriya Sarkar is a Hindi Film Assistant director and hails from the city of Kolkata and presently lives in Mumbai. Born in May, she is a diligent worker. Her early interests lied in the fields of photography and dance and modeling.

She initially worked at Commercial Photographer in Kolkata She began her career in Mumbai as a dancer in the company Crewk’d where she worked for a year (2010-2011). She was also a model at a company named Art and Fashion Photography in Mumbai.

At the end of 2013, she decided to take a plunge and try her luck at filmmaking as a profession. After this in April 2014, she got a job at Applaud films Pvt Ltd as a production coordinator. Later the same year, in December 2014 she left her job at Applaud Films Pvt Ltd and began a placed at Vijayta Films Pvt. Ltd as an assistant director.

 This was her first job as an assistant director and grew extremely passionate about her profession. She worked here for a few months after which she left this job in March 2015. Subsequently, she worked at Maruti International films again as an assistant director.

In the latter half of 2015, she began a new job as an assistant director in Ramesh Rao Production Pvt Ltd. She worked here for a year before quitting her job in September 2016. After this, she got a job at Madhur Bhandarkar Entertainment as an assistant director.

She next got a job at Cutting Edge Pictures as an assistant director which she left in 2017. She has also work experience in UBIK Films and Wild Baba Productions. She has also contributed as an assistant director in Puja Entertainment and Films Ltd.

She currently has vast experience in the field of assistant direction by working in multiple companies with different working environments in 18 years. Apart from her love of filmmaking she is a gym freak and regularly works out under her trainer Rahul Muluk.
