Kirti Nandakumar

Kirti Nandakumar is an assistant director who works primarily in the Hindi and Tamil film industry. Born on September 2, Kirti did his schooling in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan and Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai. Before he began his career as an assistant director in Bollywood, he assisted the directorial department of the Tamil film Sarvam (2009) on production and post-production.

In 2010, he worked as an in-house associate director for a commercial film company. Kirti Nandakumar collaborated as an assistant director on the adventure drama film Life of Pi’s Indian schedule at Puducherry. In 2011, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in films and started as a set production assistant and third assistant director in Taalash (2012). He assisted the films Save your Legs! And Zero Dark Thirty in their Indian schedules.
