Veena earned Rs. 150 per show which is a considerably high amount back in the late 1970s and after 20 shows, she earned a sum of nearly Rs. 3000. She embraced the opportunity given and utilised it to its full potential. Everyone was thrilled when the winner was finally announced, Veena Sajnani, number 6, had won Miss India Crown 1970. She continued her modelling career and later made a break in the TV industry as well. Sajnani is known for her role in the movie, Agnivarsha: The Fire and the Rain (2002). Her other films also include Hanuman (1998), Mango Souffle (2002), Dor (2006) and Lessons in Forgetting (2016).
