Radha Bartakke

Radha Bartake is a former Indian model and actress from the 1970s. Radha Bartakke was born in 1959 at Panay Military Hospital. She lives in Margao Goa. She is also called Radhika. Radha or Kasturi took an interest in modeling at a young age and started her career at a young age, but the fashion industry was an uncertain choice. She won the Miss Goa pageant in 1973-74 at just 14 years of age. This show was her first title in a beauty pageant and marked the beginning of her career. Shortly after winning the Miss Goa 1973-74 contest, she directly participated in the Femina Miss India 1974 contest.

Radha emerged as the first contestant of the pageant and was named India's Femina Teen Princess, which enabled her to represent India at the International Teen Princess Pageant in Venezuela. She became the first Indian to receive this honor by winning the International Young Princess Beauty Pageant held in Caracas, Venezuela. Radha holds the title of three-time beauty pageant winner and one of the most beautiful women in the world.

Radha had many beauty titles - Miss Goa 1973/1974, Miss India 1974 (Femina Teen Princess India), and International Teen Princess 1974. She was the first Indian model to win the International Teen Princess award and won the title that year. In 1974, a similar youth model beauty pageant led to the International Young Princess Award. Years later, Radha came to India and appeared in many films and television commercials. He made his Bollywood debut with the film Sajan Bina Suhagan and also did a few Marathi films but still failed.

Later on, Radha became an Indian film actress and entered Bollywood with the film Sajan Bina Suhagan. Radha has been a part of several films, including those in the Marathi industry. Radha became well known as 'Radha' or ‘Kasturi’. Today Radha is quite fascinated by sea shells and her pets which have become her favorite hobbies.  She runs a workshop in her home producing beautiful objects, souvenirs, and murals from sea shells and terracotta. The artist's works, which have recently turned to interior architecture, can be seen in hotel chains such as the Taj Mahal, Goa Handicrafts, and the end of the chain, Radisson Hotel.
