Aadhya Anand

Aadhya Anand was born on 2nd November 2007 to Anand Nayak and Priya Nayak in Coorg, Karnataka. She was raised in Singapore and is an actress, model and dancer. She has done her schooling at Global Indian International School, Mumbai. Aadhya has a younger sister named Anaaya Anand. Aadhya is also known to be an avid dog lover and has a pet named Sky. Aadhya has been very passionate about acting since her childhood. She started her acting career at the age of four. When she was nine, she made her debut in a Singaporean movie named A Yellow Bird. The movie was screened at International Critics’ Week at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016.

Later she was cast in Utter 2016: One Hour to Daylight, a social drama in Singapore. Aadhya has worked in several Singapore-based web series, including Whoopie’s World, Lion Mums (2021) and Menantu International 2 (2017). In 2017, she starred in a Singapore television series named Mom’s World. The family shifted to Mumbai in 2019 to pursue Aadhya’s dream of acting in the Hindi Entertainment industry. Aadhya says that acting is the most pacifying place for her, where she gets to play different personalities and meet a lot of celebrities. She was the first junior host of the Zee TV show Brain Boosters which aired in 18 countries. She had been a model for several print and television advert campaigns such as Universal Studios Singapore, Reliance, TVS Jupiter, Cornetto and others.

After entering Bollywood, she played roles in web series and movies. In 2021, Aadhya played the lead role of Shai in the Netflix series Bombay Begum. She also appeared in the Hulu series Braveheart playing the role of Veera in 2022. Later that year, she was seen in the Amazon MiniTV series Crushed Season 2. Her hard work and passion paid her well and got her a few awards. Aadhya received Singtel Young Achiever’s Award 2017 in Singapore. The very same year, she was the youngest recipient of the Singara Award at the International Kannada Cultural Conference held in Singapore. Aadhya also won the Super Dancer title of Sony TV’s Super Dancer show in Singapore in 2016.
