Manish K Tyagi

Manish K Tyagi is an actor and comedian from India. He was born on 5th February in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He is a resident of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his bachelor of engineering (mechanical) from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, and his Master of Engineering (Mechanical Marine) from Savitribai Phule University. He served as a naval commander in the Indian navy for 22 years and 11 months. Manish is known as The Knotty Captain and has performed at numerous naval stations. He has performed in over 50 solo gigs, over 100 shows as a host, and several open-mic talks. Also, he frequently visits the Taj hotels throughout India and the Canvas Laugh Clubs in Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Noida.

He played a crucial role in a highly successful comedy festival in Sydney and Auckland, Australia. In July 2019, he also performed solo gigs around New Zealand, including stops in Auckland and Wellington. Also, he co-hosted the Kiwi Indian Hall of Fame awards ceremony and was honored by Ms. Jacinda Ardern, Prime minister of New Zealand. He is an independent training consultant at Ground Zero Learnings. He also worked as a Marketing Engineer at Fusion Engineering Products Ltd.

He was the Business Head (Marine) at SUDHIR GENSETS LIMITED Gurgaon for three years. He wants to be an actor and model, and to date, he has appeared in one digital advertisement and two online series. Manish has given speeches at TEDx shows and Josh Talks and is frequent in corporate jigs.
