Anurag Jha started initialized his career as a director of many short films. He started a film production company Anurag Jha Creations, in 2018 to produce films of his own, as he didn't belong to the industry. He debuted in his first film at 18, titled Destiny, released in 2018, and played a prominent role in it.

Anurag Jha Creations launched its first music video in 2018, Tera Fitoor Remake featuring Anurag Jha. In 2019, it released another music video, Chaahat Remake.
