Kinjal Dave is a famous folk singer and actor from Gujarat. Her 2016 song "Chaar Chaar Bangadiwali Gadi" garnered attention. She belongs to the Advaita Brahmin family of Jesangpara, near Patan in Gujarat. Dave’s zodiac sign is Sagittarius. She hails from Banaskantha, Gujarat, India. She completed her schooling at the prestigious “Maniba School” in New Naroda, Ahmedabad. Dave pursued her higher education at Gujarat's “Patanjali Institute of Professional Studies.” She engaged Pavan Joshi, an established businessman, in 2018. Kinjal’s father and uncle motivated her to become a singer. They used to sing and write Gujarati songs.

At the age of seven, Dave began singing Bhajans. “Kanha Ne Mnao Koi Mathura Me Jaao” was the first Bhajan she sang at a Navratri night in her society. She released her first single named “Janediyo,” in 2015. Her second single, 'Char Bangadi Vadi Gadi,' was released in 2017. The song’s music video garnered 10 million views within a week of its release. Dave has more than 100 albums to her credit. She had performed live at more than 200 stage events a year, on national and international stages. Kinjal Dave’s Gujarati song "Jonadiyo" marked her debut in the music industry. Dave rose to stardom after her chart-topping song "Chaar Chaar Bangadiwali Gadi" in 2016. “Red Ribbon Entertainment” and Kartik Patel (also known as Kathiyawadi King), a Gujarati singer from Australia, sued her, her publisher RDC Media, and her studio “Saraswati Studio” for copyright infringement. Patel claimed that the song is a replica of his original with slight differences.

Three months prior to Dave's song release, he uploaded his music to YouTube. Manubhai Rabari wrote the song in 2014, according to Dave. The “Ahmedabad Commercial Court” banned Dave from using the music until January 2019, when the problem was resolved. A month later, the Gujarat High Court dissolved the restriction. The Ahmedabad Commercial Court dismissed the case in April 2019 due to a jurisdictional issue. In September 2019, the Ahmedabad Civil Court introduced a revised copyright infringement notice. Dave's publisher, “RDC Media and Saraswati Studio,” accepted the copyright violation. They agreed to take the music down from both sites, leaving Dave to fight the case in court.

"Chaar Chaar Bangdi Vali Gadi," "Chote Raja," "Ame Gujarati Leri Lala," "Ghate Toh Ghate Zindagi," "Jay Adhyashakti Aarti," "Dhan Che Gujarat," and "Makhan Chor" are some of Dave's other well-known Gujarati songs. She debuted as an actress in the Gujarati film “Dada Ho Dikri,” released in 2018. Later, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019. She earned a reward at the “12th Gauravvanta Gujarati Awards” in 2019. She also won the “Feelings Pride of India Award” in the music category in 2020.
