Manjita Vanzara is an Assistant Commissioner of Police in Gujrat. All her family members are part of the civil services but she was under no pressure to pursue the same career as the rest of them. She decided to study engineering. She graduated from Nirma University. After her graduation, she developed an interest in fashion design so she enrolled in the National Institute of fashion technology. During pursuing fashion design, she worked for many famous fashion labels. She then decided to pursue civil services and passed the UPSC exam on her second attempt in 2011.
She then became Assistant Commissioner of Police F division. She is known for her undercover missions to deal with criminals. She has been vocal about wanting young people, women especially to join the civil services to make the community a better place. She is now a part of the program named Suraksha Sahay which helps small woman-owned businesses.
