Omkar Nilange is an upcoming assistant director and dialogue and screenplay writer, known for working in short films and television series like Rendezvous (2020), Vikun Taak (2020), Tuition (2021), and Privacy (2023). He mostly works as an assistant director and writer in short films and television series. He completed his engineering degree from Sinhgad College of Engineering and did a film-making diploma from Whistling Woods International to become a director.
He first started as a director of the 2017 film Fariyaad. He later became a dialogue and screenplay writer in the 2020 short film Rendezvous. Over the years, he has worked as an assistant director in many films like Vikun Taak (2020), Jivan Sandhya (2021), and Privacy (2023). In the 2021 television series Tuition, Omkar Nilange worked as an associate director and film editor.Â
His 2020 short film Rendezvous was nominated for the Filmfare Awards along with 30 other short films.Â
