Jaikrishna Rathod

Jaikrishna Rathod is an Indian Director, Actor, and Writer who works in the Gujarati film industry. Over the last decade, he has worked in many movies such as Kevi Rite Jaish (2012), Chhello Divas (2015), Bey Yaar (2014), Gujjubhai the Great (2015), Sambandho Ni Sonography (2016). He also starred in a 2018 series called "Tame Keva?" directed by K. R. Devmani. It shows the story of a man tired of casteism who gives up his religious beliefs. He is popularly known as JK and has his name mentioned in the "Limca Book of Records" for playing seven roles in an impressive single play.

He made his directorial debut with the movie "Sambhando Ni Sonography" (2016). He also wrote the script for the movie and had initially written it for a play. However, after receiving good feedback, he went ahead and directed the film instead and acted in it. The movie is about a widower who finds respite from life's troubles in his friend. After its release, the film received criticism and praise for its unique plot. He has worked in the Gujarati film industry for more than 40 years and is a veteran actor.
