Paresh Daru is a veteran art director. Along with his partner, Sanjay Chhel's father, Chhel Vaida, directed more than 200 Gujarati plays and many Gujarati films under the name Chhel-Paresh. They both worked in art direction and production designing for more than 600 stage plays. They are mainly associated with Gujarati films but also in various languages. Subsequently, they have also directed art for around 45 films in Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Haryanvi and Oriya.
They both are associated with the movies such as Lorie, Train To Pakistan, Khoobsurat, Wazir (Marathi), and Laado (Haryanvi). The Chhel-Paresh duo also worked on designing several TV serials. He was married to

, a famous costume designer. His wife died on 31 July 2020. After one year, 10 November 2021, Paresh Daru also left us forever, but he and his work in films will be remembered from generation to generation.
