Hitu contested the Gujarat Legislative Assembly election in 2012. He was elected in the Kadi district. Although, he lost the election. In the 2017 election, he contested the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from the Idar constituency. Hitu worked in several films, including “Dholi, Saiba Mora, Meru Mulade, Ujali Meraman, Dharmo, Vanzari Vav, Jog Sanjog, and Jugal Jodi,” as a child actor. His other works include “Lekhne Mathe Mekh, Sanp Tyan Jump, Vat, Vachan and Ver, Meru Malan, and Raj Kuwar.” As a lead actor, he featured in movies like “Janmo Janam, Raj Ratan, Senthinu Sindoor, Dadane Aangan Tulsi, Vaagya Preetuna Dhol, Man, Moti Ne Kach, and Rajveer – Rahasyamay Premktha.” His other works include “No Tension, Hal Bheri America, Char Dishayen Ma Cheharma, Kaydo, Raado, Garibni Dikri, Sasariyama Thikri, and Nahin Re Chute Taro Saath.”

Hitu acquired various awards for his excellent acting skills. He received the “Best Child Artist” award for movies like “Meru Mulade (1980-81), Jugal Jodi (1982-83), Saajan Tane Mara Sam, and Ujali Meraman (1985-86).” Hitu Kanodia is an Indian politician and Gujarati film actor. In 2017, He got elected to the Gujarat Legislative Assembly for the first time. Hitu is the Gujarati film superstar, Naresh Kanodia’s youngest son. He is currently an associate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Hitu has no criminal history. He is financially responsible, however.
