Silpika Madhukalya is a scriptwriter, lyricist, and actor in India. She has prominently worked in the Assamese industry. She belongs to Tezpur. She went to Tezpur government girls’ high school. She did her graduation at Darrang College in Tezpur, Assam. She took her Master’s degree from Gauhati University in Guwahati, Assam. She has done a Bachelor’s in Music and also, a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. She has written scripts for various Assamese TV series and short films. Her films and series have received a good response from the audience. She has been the music secretary at Gauhati University.

She worked as a writer in Colors of Love in 2018 and a mini TV series Hot Spot Charlie in 2018. She also wrote the script for a short film, A Dream of a Widow, in 2019. Rupkamal Hazarika directed the short film. This film won the silver award for Best Short Film at the North East Film Festival 2023. The festival was held in Mumbai. The film has received various nominations for being the best short film and the best screenwriting. It has also been nominated and won awards at various International film festivals. The Mokho International Film Festival, the Subathra International Film Festival, the Rohip International Film Festival, and the Triloka International Filmfare Awards are some of them.
