Jupitora Bhuyan is an Assamese movie actress born in Guwahati, the capital city of Assam. She did her schooling and later went to college in Assam itself. She went to Tarini Charan Girls School in Guwahati and Handique Girls College to study arts. Jupitora Bhuyan joined the Assamese Film Industry in 2005. Jupitora Bhuyan has been working in the Assamese Film Industry since her first film, Chakrabehu, was released in 2003, where she had her minute role. However, she got the featured and famous debut role in the movie “Hiyar Dapunot Tumare Sobi.” She has acted in telefilms, VCD videos, and other short or 3-hour films. Jupitora Bhuyan is also a part of the Assamese mobile theatre industry, where she debuted as the lead female in a play in Kohinoor Theatre. She is the one known female personality in the Assamese Film Industry with a powerful character and appearance.

Jupitora Bhuyan has also acted in a few Bihu VCS’s and a few movies like Tomar Khabar (2011), Tumi Jodi Kuwa (2013) and Ajeyo (2014). Jupitora Bhuyan acted in the lead role of a female actress in the film Ajeyo (2014), which is based on the fight against social evils and depicts the freedom movement in India.
