Rajdweep is a lyricist, dramatist, journalist, and screenwriter from India. Rajdweep was born in Nagaon, Assam, on September 20th, 1986. Rajdweep graduated from Gauhati University with a degree in economics, followed by a master's in economics and a master's in journalism. He is proficient in Bengali, Hindi, and Assamese. In this movie, he sang the Assamese song "Jiri Jiri". He is famous for penning the first full-length Assamese song in a Bollywood film. For this movie, he composed the Bihu song "Lahe Lahe." Rajdweep is the youngest playwright in Assam's specialized mobile theater industry and has produced several extended plays. In addition, Rajdweep works as a senior sub-editor for the local newspaper "Assamiya Khabar" in the field of professional journalism.
For his play Bondookor Kobita, he received the 2018–19 Best Play of the Year award from All Assam Sahitya Sanmilan. Additionally, in 2018 at Cinestaan India's Storyteller's Script Contest, he received a prize from Bollywood actor Aamir Khan Aamir Khan or Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan is Bolly >> Read More... for his script "Ishqlogy." Also, he received the Assam State Film Award for Best Lyricist in 2017 and 2019 for Best Playwright of the Year.
