Analysis

Prerana makes her debut as a director with Sold. She has taken a sensitive subject and filmed it perfectly. Kavya and Shivani are definitely the right choices. Unlike the commercial films that were dealt with this topic, this movie is exciting and natural. Unnecessary stuff is not added, and no heroics are inserted. The BGM and cinematography are okayish. In the medium budget, the team has brought what they could.

What’s There?

  • The performances are laudable
  • No commercial elements and unnecessary heroics

What’s Not There?

  • A very few minor errors

Verdict

The team has worked hard to bring out a good film within the planned budget. Their efforts didn’t end up in vain. The film is watchable once with an impressive set of stars and good execution!
