Palki is a Pakistani drama serial that premiered in 2011 on HUM TV. It is an Urdu-language serial. It focuses on the life of a family as they experience unexpected twists in a marriage. The serial begins with a family discussing flying to the U.S. Zohra is the eldest daughter of the family who has a younger sister-in-law named Mehreen. Zohra is a beautiful and intelligent girl who married Saif. However, due to some unpleasant situation, Zohra leaves Saif and stays with her brother, Barkat. Later, it is revealed that Mehreen had plotted the arguments and fights between her sister-in-law and Saif. She planned to marry Saif to get Zohra to stop Ryaan (her brother).
Mehreen realizes that her plan has failed and will have to live without Saif. Barkat is disgusted by the situation and finalizes that Saif will not enter the house after the trauma he has caused to Zohra. Palki is a story of love, revenge, and betrayal. Barkat has decided that Zohra will leave Pakistan and settle abroad to start afresh. The story escalates when Ryaan doesn’t come to receive the family at the airport.
