Kisey Apna Kahein is a Pakistani family drama serial that was telecasted on HUM TV in 2014. Written by ‘Mansoor Mushtaq’ and directed by ‘Zeeshan Ahmed,’ the serial was originally released on 22^nd January and continued until 19^th June 2014 wrapping up with a total of 44 episodes. The serial tells the story of a family consisting of a father and his four daughters. They belong to a middle-class family but even if that’s the case the father wants to make the decisions for his daughters so that they have a perfect and beautiful life ahead. He unknowingly controls them to the point which drives them to become sad and unhappy with their life.

The father’s decisions for his daughters are far from being perfect even though the daughters are portrayed as kind souls with each of them having different personalities. The show focuses on the basic aspects of life which are fairly important to each and every individual such as human emotions and psychology, love, desires, care and obstacles. The show focuses on each and every one of the obstacles faced by the family members to achieve success and how it makes them stronger in life.
