The serial tells the story of Azar and Minaal and how their love gets tested by their own best friends through a series of events filled with treachery. Azar and Sana work as colleagues in an advertising agency. Azar considers her as a good friend but Sana is secretly in love with him and wishes to marry him someday. Her hopes are shattered when she finds Azar involved with a young and pretty woman named Minaal who is new to the work.

Her devastation at the discovery soon turns into jealousy and she tries to separate the two by hatching several conspiracies. Meanwhile, Farhan, a good friend of Azar is portrayed as a young and devious rich man who has secretly fallen in love with Minaal. Envious of Azar he decides to discredit him in the eyes of Minaal and destroy him so that Minaal leaves him. Sana and Farhan form an alliance with each other in order to separate the two lovers. Their plans lead to cause several misunderstandings in between Minaal and Azar and their love for each other is tested in a number of ways. Will they be able to uncover the truth and will the treachery and deceit ever end? Will all the misunderstandings diminish and whether Farhan and Sana accept their fates is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
